Pop-up in Xara blocks everything

Hello

I can't unfortunatly use my XARA anymore (xara version Pro X11), because of the damned@@@ advertising pop-up that I never could delete, and that I had to manually wipe off and spiritually endure for years and years.

It seems that the link of the pop-up doesn't exist anymore. So the pop-up remains in the center of my page, with no way to remove it anymore.

Could you help me ?

Here is a picture of the page with the pop-up : page has no link anymore, and the button on the right to delete it has disappeared.

Try ALT-F4 .. It may close the pop-up browser window, or it may completely close Xara. However, it's worth a try.

Keith, Alt+F4 worked for mine; almost any keypress does too.

The server for XDPXv11 is currently reporting a 504 HTTP Status message:

504 GATEWAY TIMEOUT
The server, while acting as a gateway or proxy, did not receive a timely response from an upstream server it needed to access in order to complete the request.

I suggest contacting Xara through Magix - http://support.magix.net/.

As I said, it is a MagiXara Server error.
Look at the top right of your application. It states 'Design gallery...updating'. The application cannot find the server so it alerting all the time as it scrolls through the design folders.

Do not poke your machine.

UPDATE: it seems to be on-line again.
Close your application and recheck.

Yes I know it is a MagiXara problem. My machine is ok ;-)

But there is a place where the Software tells to windows : "please open this link when you open me !"

I should take care of this very sooner, 6 years ago :-/

Stéphane, one problem at a time.

Have the pop-ups stopped?
If so, close the Xara application and open with Run as administrator. Do that just the once.

If you still get the message can you also screenshot that?

It seems that the pop-up disappears now after Alt+F4. (I just had to close and open the soft)
