Focus on the region of interest as bounded by the red rectangle. How do I achieve this without doing the toilsome and inefficient way? And for the parts of the text that fall inside the photo, those parts should be stroked as showcased.

Use SLICE to separate parts of the text and edit accordingly.

Or Create the text, Cnrl+B to send it behind the image. Clone the text, give it a stroke but no fill. You can then move the text columns around to get the exact alignment you want without needing to slice anything.

I will try to work this out on Photoshop based on your pointers. Thanks a lot!

Why so difficult? Two text line, one placed beneath the intended bitmap, and one above with an outline. Soft grouped. You can move them around and the effect will follow. If you want to change the text you can do so by using the find/replace option

Michael thanks. Identical to Egg's Post#3. Egg Cloned. You Soft-grouped.

i think font with stroke is not good for the design of the font.
so under this font with stroke and no filling, copy a second font (no stroke and no filling) with clipview.
so the design of the font stays.

Indeed RS. Personally I'd prefer the text with stroke & no fill to apply Convert Line to Shape & with both selected Arrange / Combine Shapes / Subtract shapes.
I'm not a lover of clipviews. Granted your method makes it slightly easier to edit the text via remove clipview, amend both versions of the text then reapply the clipview.
