The new capability to use an image filename in the latest version of Pro+ is a big help.
But my question is, if my image is 09123.jpg and I add a new Image File Name, e.g. My Photo will the filename be exported as My_Photo.jpg?

Indeed it does Gary on my tests. I personally prefer to retain lower case filenames and avoid spaces by including a hyphen such that the image is exported as my-photo.jpg
I can't remember why now but I recall search engines see hyphens (-) as splitting two or more words as individual words whilst they don't do the same for underscores (_) just seeing them as a single meaningless string.

OK well here's what I did. I renamed all of the images. Deleted all the files in the folder and republished. If I right click on the image in Firefox and select View image in new tab, the name of the image is still the number. What am I missing. Do I need to add the .jpg? I would think this is done automatically.
The actual image names are just numbers created by the artists cell phone.
Good point on the lower case. I'll change those for the file name.

I just looked, all images with the exception of that one show the file name in the tab. The image itself may be corrupted.

No don't add an image file extension. Xara will automatically add filename.jpg, filename@2x.jpg, filename.webp, filename@2x.webp to the index_htm_files folder. Or similar if you've selected png or gif as the filetype.Do I need to add the .jpg? I would think this is done automatically.

Gary, Xara has chosen to export space-gapped image filename by replacing the space with an underscore.
A URI cannot contain spaces and most coders would use the escape() function to replace them with %20, so escape("1 2 3.jpg") returns "1%202%203.jpg", which is fine for a computer but baffles most [%20 is code for space].
Xara has used "1 2 3.jpg".replaceAll(" ", "_") to return "1_2_3.jpg".
You can use Xara's offering but if you have a direct URI to a link with underscores, they might not be visible if you have your links underlined as well.
Manually, you can use “TheQuickBrownFoxJumpedOverTheLazyDog.jpg” [UpperCamelCase] or Egg's preference, putting in hyphens as word separators.
Technically in MS Windows, case is not noticed but is in Unix/Linux.
As web servers are mostly not Windows based, the safest is probably all-lower-case-separated-by-hyphens. Good for SEO (and screen readers).
All images still need Alt Text.
tl:dr - eggs-approach; any dates in yyyymmdd-format
