Horizontal Nav Bar spread out

I've created a horizontal nav bar and it looks fine in the preview and in dreamweaver but when I upload it to my site the nav bar is spread out across the entire page instead of the 2px between buttons.

Does anyone know what causes this problem and how to remedy it?

Hello germanic42,

Welcome to Talkgraphics. The horizontal navbar is designed to fill the space from the left to the right. If you want it to not take up the entire distance, then add something else on that line...
