Default how to? changing width or length independently with mouse

I am using Designer Pro version 21.5.

I have a bitmap of a small tree. I'd like to drag it so that it is longer without it becoming wider, too. Is there an easy way to do this?

    Thanks.

There is a small padlock icon on the Infobar. Click this so that the lock is disabled.

Right click on the same padlock icon and see if Smart Transform is checked. If so, uncheck it.

Thanks - I tried that before I posted my question. I probably should have included that. Sorry. It isn't working. I created a short video to show what I'm seeing.

With the Selector tool (and the picture already selected), left-click the picture again -- but don't double-click or else you switch to the Photo Tool -- and adjust the image with the side-handles.

Fantastic! I knew it had to be easy! Thanks to both of you!
