a question for rob-xar - why still no rotate document view ?

unless it has been slipped under the radar and I missed it, XDA still has no rotate document view

updating a tri-fold made some years ago [before affinity publisher] I was reminded how difficult it is to edit something when it is upside down, and how unsatisfactory it is to rotate objects that are placed in final position only to have to rotate them back afterwards; so 1990s

I can't think of another graphics program worth having that does not allow document/canvas rotate - can you ?

• Selector Tool > Select All
• Flip horizontally + Flip vertically
• Page & Layer gallery > revert Layers/Objects selections

.. and then again there are times when some things are 'right way up' and some things 'wrong way up' [that being the right way up for them] on the same page

select all no good then [and it does not always select everything, a known issue]

it can become very complicated; rotate view would avoid having to do any displacement, not to mention being a lot quicker

Apologies for the Thread hijack handrawn (and Xara, if you ever respond).

Page and Pasteboard items need to be unlocked directly, for good reason.
Once done everything rotates.

What have I missed?
