The poster is an amazing thing. It portray an amazing view in it.
As for me, was in Vietnam parts of 66, 67, 68. We usually were on duty for 6 months, then home, rehab and back again. 67 was particularly bloody and we were extended twice.
My ship always crossed the Pacific alone, never part of a convoy, so we were never stuck with all the Navy games. The ONLY, thing I must say, that I liked was when we were sailing alone across the Ocean.
Must say I never understood the obsession with shiny shoes. lol
What I liked best was looking over the side and watching what ever it was glow.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
Phosphorescence Larry, mesmerising.
