Designer Pro features not working Nivo-Slider and Simple Gallery

The whole site loads OK but Nivo slider loads only the top photo and sticks with it. No buttons below, and the faint L&R arrows appear but do not work. Simple Gallery does not even appear - even using the supplied Xara pictures. Several knowledgeable people have checked things like and can see no errors or explanation. pse see https://glenrock.uk/welcome page and then also tab for Gallery 2. (The site is only just started and contains several other blank or meaningless pages - please do not judge me by those!) This has also affected several other sites of mine in similar ways. I have not had any such trouble for years and am helpless and horrified.... I am in danger of losing customers (and income!) Any ideas please?

Does the slider work in Preview Page mode?

Can you try one of the other sliders and see if that one works? I've not used the sliders in some time so someone else will probably have an answer.

You are running jQuery v3.6.0 and most of Xara's sliders will fail with this.

Search back in my posted Threads as to why and what is required to get Nivo possibly working or drop this version of jQuery.

I see the site seems to be working now. When you have the time, if would be useful if you could explain your fix.
