    Sorry, translated by google

How much does xara support? How many layers can be put on? How many animations? Can Xara be fooled? What if you cheat on her?

Until now I only made very basic flat pages (I don't know the application and many of its functionalities) because my thing is seo, and the web offers it as a "service included in Seo" ..

I have considered the home with many layers (about 100 for galleries and banners, I have put several banner examples in Dressing Rooms)) and many animations (I animate all the elements of the page) ,,,,, and I am not very clear about which is Xara's limit ..... !!!!!!! Does the number of layers affect the page load a lot? How does Xara load the banner-layer, when loading the HTML or when the animation is activated? (now I only have 5 and I don't know how it will behave with 100)

I also convert "Mouseup Layers" (which allow animations) into Popup (which does not allow animations !!!) ... [Buttons 1 (mouseup) and 2 (popup) Banner Dressing rooms.
Why does xara do this? I do not know if I am doing something wrong ... or if this is very serious, or what ... (the thing works and does not give me errors). But every time I want to change an animation to a banner-popup, it won't let me (! Objets, on popup layers cannot have reveal animation applied!) ... I have to disable / remove the Link (web properties) change the animation, and then go back to porner the link "popup Layer:" Can I explain?

The rest of the page will be "very flat and" without anything "" because it is the best for SEO ..... I am only concerned with the home page ...

I want to be very good with the client (he pays me very well and a lot) and I am worried about making the enormous effort and ending up doing a botch ..

    any advice?

I have moved this to the web design chat forum.

I do not know the answer to your question, but I like what you have created.

Can Xara be fooled? All the time. If you know JS & CSS and Xara's functions in roe.js
What if you cheat on her? Nothing if your coding is good. You have to be aware that you may break functions and not have all browsers supporting you

I have considered the home with many layers (about 100 [will be fine] for galleries and banners, I have put several banner examples in Dressing Rooms)) and many animations (I animate all the elements of the page) ,,,,, and I am not very clear about which is Xara's limit ..... !!!!!!! Does the number of layers affect the page load a lot? [it is more the number of images - animations are using animate.css so the stress is placed on the client's computer and browser] How does Xara load the banner-layer, when loading the HTML [Yes] or when the animation is activated? (now I only have 5 and I don't know how it will behave with 100)

Turn things on their head and design a SmartPhone Variant. This forces you to remove everything that is unnecessary.
100 layers or animations will not really add to the message the site requires to sell its products.
You can then focus on the elements that enhance the message without them being a burden to the viewer.

Lighthouse Performance is Low at 67%.
Your current image file sizes are massive. You are already at 12MB.
You would benefit using WebP format. You need a Xara version that handles WebP, an upgrade that will be a minor expense.
You have not activated Retina mode so your payload could really get out of hand.
Avoid grouping text so that it ends up as an image. This destroys the quality you are otherwise seeking.
I would change the animations to be Once Only as a viewer will get bored with the slow rendering of a section that they want to view again.

I also convert "Mouseup Layers" (which allow animations) into Popup (which does not allow animations !!!) ... [Buttons 1 (mouseup) and 2 (popup) Banner Dressing rooms.

You have explained very well. It is a "feature" in the Xara application that is senseless. I move the object to a non-Pop-up layer, change the animation and return it to its correct place.

The rest of the page will be "very flat and" without anything "" because it is the best for SEO ..... I am only concerned with the home page ...

Thank you very much for the master class ...

I can't quite understand the "Lighthouse Performance is Low at 67%."
    (bad translation?)

    I do not understand either:

    "Retina mode" I've looked for help but I can't find anything? ... I can't imagine what it's about ...

WebP? What is? What is it for? (I have also searched, and nothing)

    I have xara designer Pro x V.17 ....

I did the grouping of text for the purpose of presenting the Home, because the texts look very well defined ... if I leave it as text (essential for SEO) they look very bad, very pixelated ... why does this happen?

again, thank you so much for the class ...

I think you have a web design talent, but have the wrong idea.

There is a purpose behind a website and that should be more important than anything else.

Animation can be engaging and it can be informative. On some sites it can be essential to illustrate some things.

The problem is that animation needs balance. Engaging can become distracting and it can damage the true purpose of the site.

In art sometimes artists leave empty space because they know that the empty space can be as important to their work as the part they make marks on. You'll also see art made in monochrome with only some parts in colour and often with a very limited palette.

It's the same with animation - less can be more. If you fill a page with animation, the animations will become the subject not the reason for the page being there - they distract attention and take away from the purpose of the page being there in the first place.

I hope you greatly reduce the amount of animation that you plan to do because then you will build a better website.

Do I like the animations - yes, but there are far too many of them, they take all my attention. When I see sites like these I realise it is usually a naive web designer showing off what they can do rather than the web designer doing the best for their client.

You are talented and my post is simply my opinion to make you think how animation and websites should work together.

    Best wishes going forward.

    rhdpre,

Retina is a higher dpi setting, image@2x.png or similar is 192dpi. web Properties > Website > Other > Retina. It is used in iPhone and the like.
WebP is an image format. It is available in Xara Pro+ but should be coming soon to XDPXv18.1 (hopefully).
You text presentation should be very crisp for glyphs so I do not know why you have this problem.

LGF, watching and listening, the presenter was confusing layers with stack order.
He was demonstrating with 200,000 vector objects.
Whether a vector is considered to be a single text glyph as well was hard to determine.

Xara has no difficulty in speed wherever the object is in the stack.
600,000 layers on any system would not work.

That said, Xara will struggle with 6,000 vector objects but handles text characters up to 100,000 fairly well.
By that I am talking about moving or filling all the shapes at once and inserting or deleting text and not just moving or resizing any single shape around the page.

To be impartial to any program is hard and setting up proper comparison tests more so.

Impressive work RH. Lighthouse is a little like this https://webpagetest.org/ there’s several programs that can test a website.
WebP is a new file form for images. WebP images are smaller. WebP is described well in these forums. Do a search in the web design forum.
Having cleared my cache, I opened your site and the first page was extremely slow to open.
I feel you could keep your original animation on the first page, but throttle back on layers and moving parts below the animation.
