Thank you very much for the master class ...

I can't quite understand the "Lighthouse Performance is Low at 67%."
    (bad translation?)

    I do not understand either:

    "Retina mode" I've looked for help but I can't find anything? ... I can't imagine what it's about ...

WebP? What is? What is it for? (I have also searched, and nothing)

    I have xara designer Pro x V.17 ....

I did the grouping of text for the purpose of presenting the Home, because the texts look very well defined ... if I leave it as text (essential for SEO) they look very bad, very pixelated ... why does this happen?

again, thank you so much for the class ...

I think you have a web design talent, but have the wrong idea.

There is a purpose behind a website and that should be more important than anything else.

Animation can be engaging and it can be informative. On some sites it can be essential to illustrate some things.

The problem is that animation needs balance. Engaging can become distracting and it can damage the true purpose of the site.

In art sometimes artists leave empty space because they know that the empty space can be as important to their work as the part they make marks on. You'll also see art made in monochrome with only some parts in colour and often with a very limited palette.

It's the same with animation - less can be more. If you fill a page with animation, the animations will become the subject not the reason for the page being there - they distract attention and take away from the purpose of the page being there in the first place.

I hope you greatly reduce the amount of animation that you plan to do because then you will build a better website.

Do I like the animations - yes, but there are far too many of them, they take all my attention. When I see sites like these I realise it is usually a naive web designer showing off what they can do rather than the web designer doing the best for their client.

You are talented and my post is simply my opinion to make you think how animation and websites should work together.

    Best wishes going forward.

LGF, watching and listening, the presenter was confusing layers with stack order.
He was demonstrating with 200,000 vector objects.
Whether a vector is considered to be a single text glyph as well was hard to determine.

Xara has no difficulty in speed wherever the object is in the stack.
600,000 layers on any system would not work.

That said, Xara will struggle with 6,000 vector objects but handles text characters up to 100,000 fairly well.
By that I am talking about moving or filling all the shapes at once and inserting or deleting text and not just moving or resizing any single shape around the page.

To be impartial to any program is hard and setting up proper comparison tests more so.

    rhdpre,

Retina is a higher dpi setting, image@2x.png or similar is 192dpi. web Properties > Website > Other > Retina. It is used in iPhone and the like.
WebP is an image format. It is available in Xara Pro+ but should be coming soon to XDPXv18.1 (hopefully).
You text presentation should be very crisp for glyphs so I do not know why you have this problem.

Impressive work RH. Lighthouse is a little like this https://webpagetest.org/ there’s several programs that can test a website.
WebP is a new file form for images. WebP images are smaller. WebP is described well in these forums. Do a search in the web design forum.
Having cleared my cache, I opened your site and the first page was extremely slow to open.
I feel you could keep your original animation on the first page, but throttle back on layers and moving parts below the animation.

    Google traslate...

Thanks for all the answers and especially for the criticism.

Yes, my head went a bit with the animations: It was a bet with myself when I asked myself about the difficulty of making a page where the whole page moved, except for the banners, in a "hooligan" plan. Client pays me very well for SEO, and I didn't want to spare any effort ... and, believing a "0 to the left" in design, I hide it by "moving things" ... (about this, I also start from an idea, maybe Wrong, and that is that the "user that interests me" (my client) ... is the one who "arrives, looks for the phone, and cares little about the content of the page." Unique "users who" will never return (Unless they need the phone ".....) ... but, yes, plenty of movement ...

The WebP thing, doesn't it come in Xara Designer Pro X? Is it an image format type Jpg..png? ..

I do not see anything similar neither in optimizing images nor in saving

    webp:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebP

it is a single image format that suports compressed [lossy] images, uncompressed [lossless] images, transparency, and animation

so to do all these things on the web you only need that one format, rather than three different ones [jpg png gif]

some older browsers don't support it, but modern ones do [acorn i am sure will know of exceptions]
