    Default Pesky popup

    Hi Guys,
I recently purchased update to Designer Pro X but I still keep getting this pesky pop-up to say "Renew update Service - valid until 27th July 2021" I've already done the renewal but it still keeps appearing....any help????
Oh by the way I have activated the program......
    Thanks in advance

It's a known issue and I don't know of a way to end the popups without severing the (fast) publishing links to Xara Hosting and Magix Online World, so I've learned to live with it.

I've asked Xara if there is a fix for this?

The problem is with Magix but hopefully Xara staff can help expedite a fix. So, thanks, Gary.

So have I. It was in an earlier version and they eventually fixed it, and now it's back.

This is a different issue than the OP's. This is an update to Magix' Update Service app. I just installed it.

That's the problem Boy, it won't install ... it does nothing. But it comes up EVERY time the program is closed. We've seen it before to, and I believe it was fixed before.

like boy I have seen this a time or two, but it installs and that's it

I wonder if there is an issue with third party security software settings as has been mentioned elsewhere in another context, as well as the sow's pinna magix have made of current update

I have Pro X19 and you can rename the Magix updater (temporarily to remove the popup); the proviso: should you want to enable it again is to revert back to the original name. Guessing here, but I would assume you will find a similar UPS folder and can do the same. If you are out-of-service, I expect you will still get a message that tells you that is the case.

Right now the installer and updater are a mess, but (hopefully) Magix will sort all this out!
