    Cheers Acorn,

Here's one I particularly like but I've no clue how to impliment the code into Xara.

This is beyond the scope of this challenge. Maybe a new challenge. It is an easy pattern to replicate but I have no idea how to get the shapes to rotate when you mouse over them.

Egg, an approach would be to build the SVG backdrop as totally static.
Next you would code for the pointer position and overlay a 3D transform animation over one of three possible areas that are affected around a common node.
Not something I would want to try.

Lightbulb Re: Seamless Tiling Background Challenge

Gary, I achieved what I wanted with this one but at a cost.
The SVG is massive when you convert Lines to Shapes, which I thought might lead to a better defined shape 1.4MB versus 34kB:

I wonder if in this case a PNG would be more economical? It would not be zoomable but might be a tradeoff. Your attachment is 145kb

Gary, the second SVG was only 34kB so it beats the PNG.
I only mentioned it as it is easy to slice out a pattern the wrong way.
