    Default oh no not again....!

    'faid so....

    not being on main sewerage way out back we have an STP, in front of which live rosemary and her antirrhinum

    I mention this because we my lose both if the STP has to be replaced as looks almost certain....

    but.... did you know in the greek ἀντίρρινον means calf's snout rather than the latinised nose-like

    I can see why looking at this photo - can you?

    Ah, the Antirrhinum, characterised by personate flowers with an inferior gibbous corolla!

    Sorry to hear replacement STP required, but what on earth are you doing with a ‘Scientist Training Program’ under your flowerbed?

    you did a google search? so did I and that's what it gave me too... still maybe that means my google search profile is not so full of you-know-what after all

    gibbous is a good word, I've always liked it, nice to see it applied to something other than the moon

    Yes, you've rumbled me trying to look cleaver with help from Google! Just searched 'gibbus' and wish I hadn't.

    I don't know about 'calf' looks more moose to me.
