Windows 11
is on the way...
Microsoft have announced that one of the ways in which windows 11 will deiver a better user experience is by requiring a computer to have TPM 2.0 implementation, otherwise windows 11 will not install
Most recent CPU will have this, but it's not a given its switched on in BIOS, or even that your mainboard has the necessary hardware; again recent boards will have the capabilty, but like mine they may need a plug-in module [which it has just taken me quite a while to find in stock anywhere]
how recent is recent... last five years or so give or take...
still windows 10 is good until oct 2025 - lodsa time eh?
