Updates to WDP 18?

I am currently using WDP version 17. My subscription expired in March, shortly before version 18 was released.

Heeding the advice of Acorn and others on talkgraphics, I decided to wait for any initial bugs to be ironed out before considering purchasing the new version, so that the debugged software would be my future fall-back. When I check the Magix website, it states only that the most recent update is from March 2021, obviously referring to the v18.

Does anyone know if updates have been made since then that eliminated whatever problems that came up with the initial release? Thanks in advance!

No updates to date for XDP 18.

Similar position, my Magix upgrade service expired in August 2020. I did however download the March 2021 Pro X v18.0 as a trial, and renewed my upgrade service later that month. Smooth upgrade, clean install, no version conflicts. Since then I have upgraded a dozen or so websites without an issues.

Rationale for me: I wanted the touch swipe feature (for custom supersite sliders) - works perfectly, and 4k HiDPI which was a minor improvement on my 4k AIO. I have become used to the sometimes quirky new handles, but you can switch back to the old handles if that is your preference.

I have v16.3, v17.0 and v18.0 on two separate devices and all run without conflict. You of course have an option to upgrade to a subscription Pro+. I would have thought WDP v18.0 should work OK too.

v18.5 Pro is the latest introduced 21 August 2021

You can download a v18.5 trial as a separate intall which retains v17 in situ without any changes.
