    Default Potential newbie!

    Hi folks
I currently have Website X5 software on my PC which I use to create and maintain half a dozen sites. I own all the domain names. All are hosted at TSO.
I have decided that I want to have a fresh start with a WYSIWYG program and slowly refresh all of the sites.
I am considering XARA Web Designer 11 [unless there is a more up-to-date version]

    My questions are:
Can it be used with my domains and continuing with hosting at TSO?
Is it properly WYSIWYG? Drag and drop?
Can it be used for multiple sites?

Thanks for your time and all advice appreciated....

    Hi Trevor,

The answer to your questions is "YES".

Download the trial and see how you get on.

OK, I've downloaded the trial. Let's see. One thing. The download is £58 on Amazon and £73 on the XARA site???

well amazon is a market[place] - they are sometimes cheaper, sometimes more expensive than elsewhere

if you buy from somewhere other than magix/xara, make sure you know exactly what you are getting for your money and that the source is reputable

version 11 is certainly not the most recent

there are two programs: webdesigner, and webdesigner premium, you need to sure which one you want

if you do graphic design as well you may want to consider xara designer, although that is more expensive

OK, thanks. What is the most recent release and is it worth getting rather than Version 11?

I do my design work in another program so I think Webdesigner will suit me.

I'll probably buy from XARA, maybe there's a discount code!

Having more than one site I would highly recommend Web Design Premium. A lot of TG members upgrade as the basic Web Designer is very...well...basic.

    Magix/Xara is up to v18.

Play with the trial before you buy.

    The trials are fully featured.

Out of interest which other program do you do your design work in?

    Hi

Thanks. Most of my stuff is pre-formatted. I do all tweaks in PicMonkey

I'm not sure what you mean by "pre-formatted".
