Quick shape tool instead of the selector tool

behzad, it seems quite logical that adding a QuickShape to the design, you might want to manipulate it immediately as otherwise you have to press Shift+F2 to do so.
If you were to have the power to create a QuickShape in the same fashion as a Line, Text or a Circle, you would have to have the appropriate tool active.

If you had not noticed, dropping an image have a peculiar effect in that it magically displays the Smart controls for image manipulation.
==> Select plus Rotation Handles Off === Enhance (photos) Tool.
It is only when you select Rotation Handles On, you get the Select controls (and can then Squish or Squash ==> Smart Transform Off or Smart Transform On plus Alt key held down).

So I assume your saying this is not a bug or something they need to fix?

That is right. It is appropriate for the Tool that would create the blob to be the one left active. An OCC resource is just a deferred blob that someone else created.
