I think some programs are better at over-riding default settings than others. Having said that I could be completely on the wrong track.
It's hard to troubleshoot printers from 16,000 kilometres away.

I thought I had set the templates to A4 will check when at the Men's shed on Saturday, it is a network printer.
Thanks.
Peter
The Kyocera printer default is A4 (it only has A5 or A4 papers), Xara Photo and Graphic Print Set Up is Letter, if I print an A4 document it prints correctly so what does the set up do as it appears to be ignored by the printer.
Peter
I'm not sure what you expect a printer to do if you ask it to use a paper size it cannot support. Letter (216x279) is wider than A4 (210x279). Sometimes printers can fit content to paper size through scaling.

I would change your document sizes to use A4 or A5 rather than an American paper size.
Why have you got XPG set to Letter Peter? Why not set the template to A4. Letter is only a Stateside paper size AFAIK.Xara Photo and Graphic Print Set Up is Letter
