    Default After a reinstall -

I followed Rob's instructions in my previous thread and now I am able to export to WebP images. And most of my settings have survived including my recents.

I notice however that the quality of the one image I exported is way darker than the original. Is this normal?

Gay, reckon we need your JPEG and WebP export settings before judging.

I think part of the problem here is the Windows Viewing utility. I published a test page and it looks fine in Firefox, but a bit dark in Edge.

I am not sure how the settings could affect the final image since the settings AFAICS only affect the ultimate file size. What am I missing here?

Also, if I select a WebP image on the New York Times website, I can drag the image onto the desktop. I cannot drag and drop my test image above.

UPDATE: Looking at my link in Edge now it looks fine.

Gary, you cannot drag and drop as the image is part of a background.

You can get to the JPEG with http://gwpriester.xara.hosting/webp-...ml_files/2.png.
If you try with http://gwpriester.xara.hosting/webp-...l_files/2.webp, it wants to be downloaded.

There is also a http://gwpriester.xara.hosting/webp-...iles/1@2x.webp at 1920 x 1280 resolution, implying you used Retina but Xara didn't render it.
    A possible Bug.

Glad it is displaying OK for you now.
