I recently encountered the HEIC format with an flash drive for iPhone I purchased. Yes it saved my photos to the flash drive but in this format which I cannot open unless I bring the photos into Photoshop which IMHO defeats the entire purpose of the flash drive. I returned it to Amazon.

Thanks Egg. It's just as easy to email the photo I need to my computer or plug my iPhone into the computer and download the image. And it costs less and is one less piece of stuff to have laying around on my desk. Like this odd thing. I got it with my ToGuard wildlife camera, but never could get the app to work.
