Just Got the New Update and Lost Line Weight Adjustment

I've just updated to the latest update - went to do some work using the 'shape tool' and I can no longer change the line weight (thickness) the box that you can normally adjust it with is greyed out and therefore unadjustable.

Anyone else have this - anyone have any ideas how to fix this? It is quite important for my work.

Scrub that - I shut everything down cold booted my laptop and everything is fine.
