If your server can run PHP then you can make your own form and host them on your site. I used formmail-maker.com but they have changed it to https://jqueryform.com/. You can design simple forms and run them under a place holder on your site. Works great, check them out to see if it will meet your needs.

Ray, might be useful for some but all should read https://jqueryform.com/license.php - it expects a separate payment for each form used, if used commercially.
The reCaptcha requires a Google account (square one?)

I use simfatic forms and it works very well, and have had no spam issues. There documentation is very good. You do have to use the manual upload option for a secure site unless they have updated it. It is not a subscription service, you purchase and own it.

The jqueryform.com seems to be very usefull. Just tried it here:

    https://www.geno50.de/ek6/kontakt.htm#Kontaktanfrage

Payment seems to be starting with 1 $ per form. That's ok to me. It greatly reduces the coding (especially since i'm no coder).

Only downside is the lack of styling options.

This was done with the xaratemplates-way:

    https://rmigmbh.de/kontakt.htm

Adding fields is hard. Adding functions (pull down menu eg) even harder.

Are there other good tools or sites for form-building?

    Hi,

I don't understand why Xara don't offer a native form field for Designer Pro+, for me it's incredible en a pity.

Some other webdesign sites as Webaccapella have his own form field so why Designer Pro + is with a bad solution, form field is a master part of a website no ?
For me it's a shame and I want know if this missing will be corriged in the future.

No. Xara's philosophy is there are a number of good form building solutions that you can add to your website with a "placeholder." So they want to concentrate on things that are not available.

Sorry but when I buy a car I don't need to buy the passenger seat elsewhere.

I love that quote. However Xara is a a WYSIWYG editor, so all you need to do is create a place holder in your car and you can add whatever seat your heart desires. Or any form for that matter.
