Text won't display on Fade Slideshow 2 Widget

I used the Fade Slideshow 2 Widget. One each image, I put some text, but when I preview it (or publish it), the text doesn't show. Can I put text on each slide? If so, how can I get it to show on the slideshow? Thanks.

The simplest way is to add the text to the image you want it to appear on, create a bit map copy, and use that in place of your original image. You may notice the text on the rendered image is slightly blurred and there may well be another way of changing the Xara slider, but I've not explored it.

There are other ways to create a slider, but see how get on with the above approach.

Thanks for the reply. Since the slider does allow us to put text on each slide, though, I'm wondering how I can do it that way if anyone knows?

The slider does not work that way as far as I know; it would have to be re-engineered. You could look at a 'superslider' e.g. https://initiostar.co.uk/demo/zNivo/, but I would encourage you to check out the method I suggested first.

The superslider is (usually) a Xara supersite which is embedded in your main slide; hence the possibilities are endless.
