Border Default problem

Somehow I have managed to make all text boxes have a thick black border. How can I stop it please?

Where did the text box come from?

It sounds like you Inserted from the Content Catalog a Text Panel instead of a Text Box.

If it is a Text Panel, when you select it with the selector tool, the Set The Line Width drop down box at the top of the screen will show a measurement, something link 2.5px. Click to open this and set the line width to None.

Also, you probably have Give New Object Most Recent Attributes. This will cause every need panel you create to have the outline.
