    ok I dont have page and layout, but clone the original and drag the top of the clone down and over is how I would do it, then adjust the linear transparency of the clone - does that help ?

    you can adjust the direction of the linear transparency on the clone, you could reclone the clone and adjust its transparency to suit

    Yes, that's how I'm going to do it.

    ps, it looks like page and layout designer has been or is about to be discontinued. That's why I was asking about Designer Pro. Do you use it and how does it shape up compared to the usual suspects out there?

    I converted the reflection to a Bitmap then applied an angled Linear Transparency.

    p & l is discontinued

    designer pro is a great vector editor, a so-so bitmap editor... a creator of website HTML and a passable document creator - just my opinion... my usage is vector oriented and rather arcane
