Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
The sloped roof line is not a vanishing line.
Here's how I'd go about creating that sloped roof Larry.
Egg
Intel i7 - 4790K Quad Core + 16 GB Ram + NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 Graphics Card + MSI Optix Mag321 Curv monitor + Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB SSD + 232 GB SSD + 250 GB SSD portable drive + ISP = BT + Web Hosting = TSO Host
Thank you for doing this Egg I didn't really quite get it, but it led me to some Sid Mead videos who was a legend and I heard about him when I was a working Delineator.
I am a more of do it by hand guy and computer graphics and I don't always see eye to eye even less so these days it seems guess I'm getting old and forgetful, but I still try.

thats good egg, like it
you know try as I might, and I tried for a long time, I cannot build up a character from scratch on computer I have to go back to a real pencil and paper; all those small strokes that flesh out the weight and direction need paper with tooth and drag in order for me to work fast and accurate - inking on the other hand is easier on the computer as that is mostly just varying pressure of the strokeno soul
expression [or soul] is very important in cartooning; in everything
