Magix vs Xara

If I choose to subscribe to Pro+ then would that end any need for me to keep Pro and Magix? Pro+ and Xara GmbH are wholly autonomous?

pro+ is subscription - if you don't renew you loose everything, the program won't work at all

so whilst you don't need to keep the magix version[s] it may be a prudent backup

xara GmbH is a [relatively] new company set up with venture capital and they have stated they are independent
