    opened in pro+ and there are two seperate shapes - although the grey one is stated to be a line...

    It was the zero-size point that is a Line combined with the Ellipse shape. It is easy to delete when you know what it is.

    That's what I found also Keith with XDP17 so that begs the question how did you create the second circle rsrsrs? I found that cloning the blue one a and changing the color to gray the two are identical.

    Press Tab until a point is highlighted off the shape.

    that's as may, be but leaving aside the text object there are only the two objects listed in the gallery and in the workspace and they are not the same size - my finding is the same as keith's

    I see the issue you refer to though if you break the grey

    thx all for your response.

    it was made about 10 years ago by a college, so no chance to find out how it was made.

    the original sketch was quite complex, so it drove me mad to find out what the hell was wrong with circle.

    "
    Right-click on the grey ellipse.

    For many problems there are simple and easy-to-understand solutions that do not work.
