    You can convert SVG to MP4 and add sound thereafter: didn't have the original SVG so this is a HD 1920x 1080 screen recording. Converted to a UHD 4k MP4/H264 video: https://initiostar.co.uk/demo/SVG-4k.mp4

    Clearly you lose the SVG scalability and some quality, but it's a neat way of taking an animation where you then have full editing capabilities to add any content to it (as well as other SVG animations). Easy to add the MP4 to any Xara document.

    MP4/MOV are the formats I use, but not for websites which I don't build

    I've added an mp3 player to the xar file, not ideal but keeps the filesize down.
