Default How do I add a meta tag to an image

Hello, It's been a long time since I've used this program. I ran a SEO report on my site and one of the things it wanted corrected read "No image meta tag found". I did search the forums but could not find how to accomplish this. Any help much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi ET. You can enter them in Web Properties / Website & Page Tabs.
On the Website Title give your site a meaningful name such as "York Antiques" then in the Description "York Antiques specialises in the Roman period".
On each Page Title give your page a meaningful name such as "Helmets" then in the Description "We have a large collection of Roman helmets ..... etc".
Both Tabs have a section for Keywords but I believe these have now been mainly depreciated in SEO.

EDIT Just reread your post and you're asking about Image tags.
Select your image and Web Properties / Image Tag
Add an Alt tag i.e. "Roman Shoe circa 327 AD" then in the Image Filename add "roman-shoe-327ad".
The image will then be saved as shoe-327ad.jpg and not 3256.jpg (which is totally meaningless to Search Engines but 'roman-shoe' is).

Hi Ed, The Image Filename is a fairly recent feature which allows you to name your images rather than have Xara give them numbered names.

I did look at your profile but it doesn't state which version of Xara Designer you're on (i.e. v16)

It's one of the better features added recently.

Hi Egg, Indeed, I have version 16.3 which does not have that feature. Looks like time for an upgrade!
    Thanks very much!

Image meta tag is probably for social media.
Xara doesn't handle that at all.
