Default What you see is NOT what you get

    Hi there,

my website has some ten pages of which approx 50% do NOT show up in any browser as they look in Xara.
It refers basically text issues: size, colour, font, where it ought to be.
Some pages are not "affected" at all - others a great deal though all of them are simple copies of my first (empty) page

Hints what could have caused this are greatly appreciated.

Have you refreshed the browser's cache, Ctrl+F5?

Have you published and then republished?
If you have, you have to ensure your server is not caching old pages and you are not publishing into the wrong place.

This has been covered in recent days: https://www.talkgraphics.com/showthr...e-after-upload.
If you are publishing and tweaking regularly then the server caching needs to be purged.
It is Service & Service Provider specific.

If you publish to a sub-folder, does it appear correctly?
I also assume it is showing correctly in the Xara Preview.

P.S. When you have a problem, a link to the site is far more helpful than just "sh**".

    A belated welcome to TalkGraphics.

    As to your hints:

    1. Yes, I published a couple of times for fine tuning purposes
    2. I am going to ask the provider re your hint the server needs to be purged
I (hopefully) attach a pdf sheet showing three screenshots: xar / Xara preview / browser and the page I refer to

Hi T&E, I can see the differences within the pdf but this isn't really of much help. Can you attach your xar / web file?

I have changed the relevant fonts yesterday plus this night' s automatic (??) server purge routine, most of my issues seem to be gone.
Time constraints in the near future will prevent me from digging deeper.

    Tx for yr help anyway.
