Default Remote file not found and "dead loop"

    Hi there,

I added a mp4.video (close to 1GB) to my .xar file by drag & drop.
When I try to publish the new .xar file the upload is at 3% when it comes to the new video file but the upload falls back to nil when reaching approx 10%. This kind of a dead loop goes on some four, five times - thereafter I get the message "remote file not found".
Who can help to overcome this problem?

    Tx and best regards

Version: Xara Designer Pro X 17.1.0.60485

recode your video to a smaller file size ?

1GB is high, sounds like it is timing out

alternatively use youtube or vimeo links ?

Never import an MP4 into a Xara design, the overhead is horrendous.
Your machine will (and has0 just choke unless you have lots of RAM.
even then the XDA is not designed for mega-sized anything.

Upload your MP4 with an FTP to a folder in your server space or better just import into YouTube.
You then need a Placeholder to access the remote link: drag and drop a small MP4 onto your design. Open up the HTML Body code and replace the src part and tweak sizes.
Lots of examples here in TG.
