Beyond the Nov 2020 updates showing on the Magix/Xara Designer Pro product page (link in post #2), it looks like (for some reason) Magix/Xara are keeping this update a petty low profile affair. Unless I've missed it, there doesn’t seem to have been the usual fanfare from Webmaster Kate or Rob-Xar here on the TG forum.
    Rob-Xar is on holiday.

I don't understand your reference to "the new menu font", can you expand on it?

Sorry, that should have read ‘pretty’ not ‘petty’ in my last post

Edit: Ah, that explains it. Thanks Acorn.

Hi Acorn, re ‘new menu font’. I was interpreting (perhaps on reflection, wrongly) the comment made by ‘rsrsrs’ in post #30 about the ‘fontsize in the menu are smaller’.

I’ll have download and install a trial version of v17.1 to actually see what it looks like, but from my recent experience from testing a trial version of DP+, that by default (on my system), also had a slightly smaller font for menu text (albeit nice and crisp/sharp looking).

I was then (perhaps again wrongly) guessing that if the menu font was smaller, the same DP+ (and thus potentially scaleable for hi res screens) font was being deployed in this latest update.

Anyone else finding the new selection blobs very slow to redraw?

Checked my machine with DP and value is not set for this. Maybe someone with DP+ can check theirs?

I do not have magix ver 17 so I don't know what is there

in pro+, there are two REG_SZ entries: for ScaleX and for ScaleY both set to 0

I really don't think that is the sort of thing yuou were hoping for...
