Default Paste CAD Data for Precise Layout of Graphics

Is there a workflow for bringing in CAD geometry at 1:1 scale? I use the Xara program to design the graphics for electronic control interfaces. The graphics must be precisely placed where keys, LEDs, switches, displays, etc... I have not found a way to paste CAD entities to assure of the accuracy and precision. What I would like to do is copy AutoCAD entities to the clipboard and paste them in Xara on the guides layer. I stumbled on a way to do this in the past but now the data is scaled with no apparent logic.

SWT330, I don't have a single DXF file on my system.

No XDA has a DXF import/export format.
LibreCAD can convert from DXF to SVG, which will work well in recent XDA version. You say you have v7!
https://cloudconvert.com/ handles DXF to PDF, which might work for you.

Thanks. I'll check into generating SVG format. I am using Designer Pro X, v18.

i open the dwg in DWG True view and export it to PDF.
i freesze layers i dont want to import to xara.
    export to PDF
    precision: for Manufacturing
    Export: window - choose window.
    Page Setup: Override.
here you can try if fit to paper or no scale works better,
i alway use fit to paper.
or maybe Page Setup: Current, works better.

open the PDF in xara, try to find a scale that seems to fit.
now, measure a table or whatever in DWG true view, lets say 200cm
now , measure the same table or whatever in Xara, lets say 187cm
    open windows calc
    200/187*100
mark the result, here 106,951871657754010695187165775 copy it. (strg c)
go to xara, mark all (strg a) and paste the result in % scale, lock aspect ratio, press enter.

for new measurment i use CorelDraw X6, works good with scaling and copy paste.
if u want to know more, let me know.
