    Info Linking to Cloud-hosted Images

I don't use any others but I am sure they all have similar solutions.

    OneDrive

    1. Image > View Original
    2. Direct link format: View Original URL
    3. Example: https://jl8n8g.am.files.1drv.com/y4p...014_102132.jpg
    4. Also note this retains the filename you saved it as

    Dropbox
    1. Image Right-click > Share > Create a Link > Copy Link
    2. Change https://www.dropbox.com/image_path?dl=0 to
    3. Direct link format: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/image_path
    4. Example: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/...2016.45.56.png
    5. Also note this retains the filename you saved it as

I find OneDrive is the easiest to employ.

Does anyone know how to return/retain the original filename in Google Drive?

With the two images I am using, what meta-information can you extract.
I am interested before I use either with a client.

The OneDrive example won't allow the image to be shown unless I log in using my MS account. Logging in returned the following 403:
    'Access to jl8n8g.am.files.1drv.com was denied
You don't have the user rights to view this page.'

Dropbox showed the picture and when right clicked allowed me to save with the name 'Screenshot 2020-07-26 16.45.56.png'
Using the Windows Properties I was given the usual size and location etc.

You can do it feom Google Drive but it's fairly convuluted and the end result comes with overlays. THIS article talks about using Google Photo's which I've never used.

    DEMO using Google Drive
    Egg

Intel i7 - 4790K Quad Core + 16 GB Ram + NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 Graphics Card + MSI Optix Mag321 Curv monitor
    + Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB SSD + 232 GB SSD + 250 GB SSD portable drive + ISP = BT + Web Hosting = TSO Host
