you do not need to
pro + will do everything WD does
just let it lie without uninstalling - you can then always go back to it if you decide pro+ is not for you

Bill, I stopped renewing my XWDPv15 and kept XDPX through to v17. There are very few changes in v17 that ever warranted me to upgrade.
This year, I have had clients with XWDPv17, needing their sites tidied or assistance. I used XDPXv17 and presented a .WEB (changed the extension) and all worked fine.
I even offered up a XWDPv15 version to allow them to run and save it in their version; all worked without issue.
As I too also have XPro+, I will let my XDPXv17 Update Service lapse without a care.

P.S. I do lose the Magix M Website cover. As this was only ever http, it is probably good that I expunge all my plays on that and use a real service provider.
The downside is some TG links were to acorn.xara-hosting so these will die.

I'm also a XARA Pro+ User/Member. I decided it to help Xara out of Magix's mill.
Magix does NOTHING for Us XARISTIS!
Maybe I'm an idealist but I will believe that Xara Corp. will set the focus to XARA-Designer and bring all the thinks to go on we wish all the time. Matt, as the new CEO has now the chance.
And that's the way I will help him with my subscription.
If not, I think I will follow Xara an another Year and then do my decissions about Xara, and choose my software I will prefer and work with it in future.
