Drag and drop photos not working?

I cannot drag photos from the desktop and drop them into Pro +

Is anybody else seeing this?

I am able to with ease: Desktop, any Explorer folder, other applications.

OK. I had Pro X open and Pro + open. This should not be a problem but when I closed both and then opened just Pro + everything works OK.

Mind the gap: 'Pro+'.

Just tried with my two.
The only difference is Pro+ has a dialog to ask about import size. Perhaps that was underneath other windows?

What i did find was my browser would scroll to the top regardless until I closed XDPX!

I did have that problem Gary. Dragged from a download folder to a newsletter temp. Had to use the import option. During the regular workflow I closed the newsletter, worked on a web page, then back to the newsletter and the problem went away.

Hi Gary,

Restart the program and that should fix the issue.

This happens because you can only drag between applications that have the same level of permissions. After installing or updating Xara, it requests elevated admin permissions to do so, and because it runs straight after, it initially maintains those permissions. If you restart the program, it then runs as 'you' and lets you drag between explorer and Xara.

Thanks Rob. I think this is what I did and I did not have ProX running at the same time.
