Are there any scroll images plugins in the latest xara Designer pro x?

Hello people

I'm trying to build a new website for my business. I was looking originally at wordpress then thought I would update to the latest version of Xara Designer as there a lot of themes to choose from.

I'm still trying to decide what to use as a basis for my new site but one thing I was hoping that would show up is one where there are a number of images that would scroll with the dots to indicate the image you were on.

I have not seen any. I remember from many years ago a java script that would allow me to do it. I then saw that Xara offered something similar. Now I have to say I have no idea where to look. Any hints? Tips

Hi Tim, from the top menu bar select Insert/From Content Catolgue/Components/Image Resources/Photo Slideshows.
The Nivo Slider might be a good choice.

Hi, Thanks it would have taken a while to figure that out.

I have another stupid question how do I edit the animation type or the delay in this widget. I promise I have looked. On the web it says change the values in the text box using the text editing tool.

I changed the delay to 4 seconds from the 10 default and nothing. Unless you click on the transition arrow it stays static. It really editing the text box?

I think the issue is there is no auto transition like I imagined. I can alter the transition type but its static until I click the > button.

I went on the xara site and ran the same demo and it's the same. There is no auto scroll.

The Xara Slideshow Widget offers the most options.

The standard Nivo slider does scroll, but the slides are static images (MP4 attached).

Are you expecting/looking for animation on each slide? Here is an example of an animated slider embedded into a website: https://initiostar.co.uk/demo/BoxSlider/

Whatever you have in mind is almost certainly possible.
