In your original message, are you talking about Xara Designer Pro X or Xara Photo & Graphics Designer or Movie Edit Pro?
Here is the link to the Forum for Movie Edit Pro. The current version is 2021. Click on Help, Online Update and you should see something for the update. If not, post a question on the MEP forum.
