Suggestions please for adding a comments section

I am toying with the idea of adding a comments section to my local history society website in the hope of attracting more members and getting old photos etc donated. I can't find anything within Xara. It would need to be simple, easy to use and free - any suggestions?

Your xara product produces static websites.

Comments require a backend, database or third-party widget.

A simple Comment set-up would quickly become spammed and your site probably banned.

I would think again.

Give the punters a webform and you can review and either add manually (tedious republishing) or browse though recent TG Threads about blogging.
