With scale to fit I wonder if the pasteboard background is actually required. I've tried deleteing it and it seems to work regardless. So attached.xar has an icon set to sticky off the page background. Scallin the window keeps the icon inside the page until the page reaches maximum size the displays it off the page border.

I'd say I agree with Chris M in your original thread, re what is the value of having an icon off the page, especially in scale to fit?
