Boy and others - Here is an example of another Yin and yang I am working on and you can see how the software leaves a gap. Sometimes I go in and manually fill that if it is too distracting.

Thanks for the further clarification, Gary.

Wow, that's a complicated design! It keeps on moving in and out and, to a lesser extent, laterally as well.

Here's the rest of that stereogram.

My partner Gene Levine and I create very similar effect but he does his in Photoshop on a Mac, Knowing a little about Photoshop I think it is worlds easier in Xara. But our results are often indistinguishable. And of course we "borrow" liberally from one another.

Gorgeous! And no shifting back and forth, left to right.

I always find it amazing that you and Gene have collaborated over years but I remember you stating you've never met. Is this still the case?

I am amazed that I can never see anything in any of these. My wife is right, I have eyes that don't see.

louyo - Unless there is a physical problem with your eyes, almost everyone can see stereograms. The reason why most people who cannot see a stereogram is that they are focusing on this actual image, the same way you look at any image. But stereograms require you to focus slightly beyond the image.

Here's a page I did that explains how stereograms work and how you can train yourself to see stereograms http://custom-stereograms.com/stereogram_guide.html
