As ever, Xara invents a feature and lets it lie fallow.
Autocorrection will automatically take a key sequence and substitute it for another if it is in the user-controlled autocorrect_en_GB.dic file in C:\Users\xpa\AppData\Local\Xara\XtremeProSub\21 [assuming you are using XPro+v21 and have altered the Autocorrect list as some point].
My current list is:

autocorrect_en_GB.txt - use this but change the file extension for TXT to DIC.
I have added Comments after a second tab that all seems to be ignored.
The first entry is a null action as there is no replacement text - it does nothing.
Xara never mentioned you can undo an autocorrection just by pressing Ctrl+Z.
I removed the smart quotes Xara enforces as it mucks up any code entries.
This approach means your input the quotes twice to force a conversion.
I mainly use AutoHotKey for autocorrections as it is usable across all applications.
Xara's offering cannot be used in Placeholder Code boxes.
Xara seems to have not means of add function and control keys, which would be interesting.
What autocorrections to you use?
