Default Image handles - "old style"

Is there any way to get the "old style" image handles (bounding box) back, where there were 8 black handles around an image?
When arranging portfolio pages, it's a PITA being only able to grab the bottom-right handle when for instance, the bottom of the pic is aligned to a guide and I need to enlarge the image my grabbing the top-left handle and drag.

you can do this in the selector tool - make sure 'show selection bound handles' button is pressed [far left on infobar]

you are stuck with it though in the photo tools

While they do add a few more options, such as rounding corners, and cropping, I prefer the plain old Fill Tool handles.

Group the image. Make your adjustments, then ungroup again. You can do this with shapes also. This way it also works better for object snapping.

that is true, you can do that to a single image and the blue handles disappear, so you have neither set

not all adjustments will work on a group, but it's an alternative
