I am always easily able to see your stereograms, except the skull gram. When you make them is there some calculation/variable that makes one more or less difficult to see? Not looking for your secret magic, just not sure why the skull gram is different. They are always great. Thanks.

No. Every stereogram is unique. Some patterns work better than others but for me, and I have been making these for about 25 years, every one is different.

That said, over the years I have figured out that some things work better than others. For example, this stereogram as a single image would not have worked very well at all. Adding an additional layer in color for the text only helps and then adding an additional layer for a subtle outline is what make the image so clear.

The trick is to back off enough so the different layers are more subtle.

    Lots of trial and error.
