    Default Inspired by Derek

I tried Derek's technique of photographing an object, a rose in this case, with a black card behind the sun-lit flower. But instead of processing my iPhone photo in Xara, I used the Prisma app's Hunter filter. Similar effect.

Impressive. A simple flat-black card? Can you show us the unprocessed photo with the card? Thanks.

Sure. Here's the original. I held the card with one hand and my iPhone with the other. It was a sunny morning and the rose was backlit.

Thanks Dan. Larry, I am not sure. It is apricot colored and in a pot, that's the best I can do.

OK thanks sort of looks like moss rose except for the color.
