Update page

Hey!

Hope im posting in the right place.

I want to know if its possible to have an update page in xara. What i mean by this is I want to have a job board on one page which is just made up of text and have a different page that an "admin" would use where they can update the text (add/remove jobs).

If this is possible I would love to know about how to go about this,

Relatively easy: you can have 2 activations of Xara, one installation on (say) a Management PC, the other on (say) an Admin PC. A Manager can have control of both pages; the Admin simply manages and uploads the jobs page(s), or any variations thereof.



Your Xara doc would be on a shared server such as One Drive or Google Drive so both users have access to the same copy. That's how I use it with a desktop and laptop.

There will be other ways of doing this too - you could also look at Xara's Pro+ Cloud Combo.

Don't do that. Your 2-licence activation is for the sole and singular use of the purchaser. The "they" in the OP are clearly not the purchaser.

The approach is to set up an HTML page or Google Docs, open to the "they" and embed into the Xara design.
This, and variations of it, have been discussed many time on TG.

The other one to consider is Guest access to Cloud+ so the "they" can admin away on unlocked parts without destroying the site.
