Default Some Old Random Plane Illustrations

These are really old plane drawings but have had some updating done on them. There is a Buccaneer about to land on a carrier, a Wildcat, a pair of Avengers, and a Bell Airacomet jet.

Aside from incredibly tight drawings you are so good at getting the surfaces. And things like the horizon of the ocean being slightly soft. Things that add photographic realism to vector illustrations.

Thanks all for having a look at some old work. I'm hoping that other TG'ers will post some of their work, old or new.

Okay Gray. Here's one I did several years ago for an Airbus 380 which was only in production at that time. No where near your standard but I remember enjoying drawing it way back then.

Handrawn, I try to make them a little different.
Egg, nicely done. The 380's are a monster of a plane.

Drawing and rendering, both excellent. I was just reminded of my very earliest days in advertising. My first job out of art school was working in Detroit on the Ford Motor Corporate account. Back in the 60s most cars were rendered not photographed. And the studios who specialized in car art used two people teams, one person did the drawing and the other person did the color illustration. Gray could have done both.

That's very kind of you to say that, Gary. The cheque is in the mail.
