Default Having meaningless fun with svg's

No realworld use but just enjoying messing with svg's (animated or static) at the moment. Page loads in 0.8secs so quite fast.

(n.b. migrating my server at present so I'm not sure how long this link will work)

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Great work. A couple of months ago, I started working with static svgs. I created a couple of sprite sheets with perhaps 30 icons each, yet a filesize of 15Kb. More complex svgs came in around 2-3Kb, compared to exported as PNGs two or three times that size (with degraded quality). They are truly a marvel for speed as well. It would be great for Xara to integrate them into the exporting for websites.

Couldn't agree more Gary. The use of sprite sheets would be a big step forward too, cutting down on the number of server calls.

Hi Gary, creating the vector svg's within Xara then importing them into svgator pricy and a bit of a learning curve but I enjoy working with it.

As I said HD, I'm enjoying working in it, so the price in my opinion is worth it.

Here's an example Gary, 36Kb. LINK
