Hi,

I'd appreciate your help.
I created named colors (custom palette) in XDP having as reference Inkscape's palette "GNOME HIG Colors".
I've attached a screenshot of the Inkscape and my Xara's custom palette.xar.
A couple of issues have appeared, as shown in this screencast: https://bit.ly/2CJnPcI

a) The color palette has 5 variations for each color, and I intend to create a lighter variation for each color.
Using Xara's Color Editor, I realized I can decrease the "saturation" to achieve the lighter variation.
However, I'm not confident how to establish a certain pattern to follow to create similar lighter colors for each base color.
For instance, decreasing 20 points from each color base, does it make sense as a pattern to follow when creating the new lighter colors?

b) The color pink doesn't exist in Inkscape's palette "GNOME HIG Colors".
In that case, for now, I simply added Xara's "pale magenta" color as a reference to create 6 variations of pink following the pattern that the "GNOME HIG Colors" established to the other colors.
How can identify that pastern and create the proper variations of pink?

Thank you very much,
Carlos
